(N)GRDGCGÖU Cable Feature:

(N)GRDGCGOU Cable are crane cable providing power and control. Commonly used in festoon systems for overhead gantries and industrial handling equipment, and in heavy-duty container cranes. These cables have applications across heavy industry, including mining and ship-to-shore marine loading. Also commonly referred to as Chain cables.

(N)GRDGCGOU cables have a rugged and robust rubber outer sheathing to protect the conductors during repeated flexing, with the (N)GRDGCGOU also having a tinned copper wire braid to provide electromagnetic screening for control signals in close proximity to power cables. As with all crane cables, they can operate under high mechanical stress, with torsional stresses of up of ± 90°/m, tensile loads of 15N/mm2, and travel speeds of up to 240m per minute. Their robust and flexible construction suits applications in dry, damp or wet rooms and in wet industrial conditions. Both cables come in black as standard.

(N)GRDGCGOU Cable for flexible low voltage screened power and control in chain and festoon systems and lifting devices. Suitable for material handling equipment, hoisting plants and transporting machines for heavy mechanical load, in dry, damp or wet rooms and in wet industrial conditions. Suitable for application under high mechanical stresses and subject to frequent bending during operation.
